Architects & Engineers in Small Firms
Victor’s professional liability insurance program for architects and engineers in small firms protects against claims and allegations of professional negligence on the part of the business owner or the firm’s employees.
Eligibility
Architectural or engineering firms providing professional services with annual fees of $500,000 or less may qualify for this insurance. Firms predominantly involved in the following disciplines are ineligible, however, may qualify under a practice policy:
- Geotechnical/soils
- Marine
- Nuclear

- Coverage is written on a claims-made and reported basis
- Full prior acts coverage from establishment of firm
- Three-year policy period
- Annual aggregate limits
- Guaranteed fixed premium for the policy term
- Premium is paid in annual instalments
- Limits are available on a per claim and annual aggregate basis up to $2,000,000

Submission Requirements
- A completed Victor Architects and Engineers in Small Firms application form
- Submit the completed application(s) and/or renewal form(s) to SubmitApps.ca@victorinsurance.com
